So, my initial attempt at blogging lasted a whopping 3 days. Oops! I’ve gotten through the holidays and I’m ready to give this a sincere try.
I will be focusing this blog mostly on my adventures at Walt Disney World with my children. I have lived in Central Florida for about 15 years. I have been a Disney annual passholder for nearly 10 years and was a cast member before that. I have been taking Punky since she was about one. Buster experienced Disney World in utero more times than most people experience it in a lifetime. Crazy, but true. When it comes to tackling Disney solo with small children, I’m an expert.
I would like to use this forum not only to share our park experiences, but to assist those who are planning a trip to Disney and who have questions. Please, if you have WDW questions, just leave a comment and I will do my best to answer. I will also share posts about Orlando in general. It is a wonderful place to live and raise children. I want to highlight why Central Florida is such an amazing place to call home!
As I wrap this up, I challenge my readers to come up with a caption for the above photo. Note this was taken immediately before Buster caught hold of Mickey’s nose. And that Buster has a full leg cast here due to a mishap while playing with the big kids (story to be covered in another post). But that’s just who Buster is and I love him for it. And I’m still not sure whether Punky is talking to Mickey or trying to see through the screen across his mouth. Either way, she’s my precocious, curious, social butterfly. It is one of my favorite photos, perfect for its imperfection. Their personalities really shine through here and I will take that any day over the typical forced smile character photo.
